The island of Capraia is located in the northern Tyrrhenian Sea and is the third largest island of the Tuscan archipelago. It has an area of about 20 kilometers, a length of 8 km and a width of 4 Km and is closer to the Corsican coast (31 km ) than to Italian (54 km).
The island is part of the Tuscan Archipelago National Park , the largest marine park in Europe.
